[01 August 2006, Taipei, Taiwan] Today, Sea Sonic Electronics introduces the new S12-ENERGY+ power supplies for the consumer PC market with focus on performance and energy savings. The culmination of over 30 years of leading edge power supply design and production expertise enabled Seasonic to be the first power supply manufacturer to receive the coveted “80Plus” certificate in the United States. Now this “80Plus” certified high efficiency power supply is available to the general market in two models, the S12-550Energy+ and the S12-650Energy+.

By incorporating state of the art double forward converter circuit design with active power factor correction, the S12-Energy+ power supplies achieve industry leading efficiency ratings.
